I'm often asked how we go about finding our "models." First, I try to avoid the word "models." The idea of my work is to record real men who have "self -- actualized." By that I mean, men who have taken whatever assets they have been given and maximized them -- spiritually, intellectually and physically. My reputation for photographing the most beautiful men in the world is based on finding regular guys who exhibit a quality expressed in the recruitment phrase -- "be all that you can be". My twist on the military slogan is to find guys who are proud gay men who are working on freeing themselves from sexual shame. They love themselves and take care of the bodies they were given. Guys like this come in every size, shape, color, and age. When asked if I have a "type" I am looking for, I say no. It's like a dog show. There are great bulldogs, fine whippets, and fabulous poodles. Do you fit the profile above? A lot of the guys I shoot don't think they qualify. At times when I spot someone I want to shoot, I hear back, "I don't photograph well." My stock response -- "Well I do. And since I'm the one taking the photographs, you'll be fine." What is most important is that you be willing to share who you really are here. I'm looking for guys who want to explore their sexual attraction and turn us all on! CURRENT PROJECTS 40 PLUS is my celebration of gorgeous mature men, You have to be 40 and up to be considered. These are the guys who provide the roadmap to a continuously fulfilling and sensuous life. You can get a sense of ON THE COUCH in the preview in the free section of the site or from the books and DVDs, or by checking out the project in the membership section. We shoot couples, individuals, and groups of friends, both in Palm Springs and on the road. DEEP SEX is a journal of Jared's and my erotic life that includes special friends with whom we share the fun of sex play. We handle participation in this project in separate discussions with guys we meet who want to go on sexual fantasy trips with us. Sometimes those meetings start on line. We find BigMuscle.com (we are psDynamicDuo) a great place to start those conversations. You are welcome to ask us about it. This project will be on line, in print, and in a film and TV series.
WHAT YOU GET / WHAT WE GET The guys we shoot are not paid models, with the exception of honorariums given to the guys who we do film work with. We give the subjects of the shoot a portfolio of original digital prints of the best work in the shoot -- usually around ten 8 x10 images and one 10 x 13. The portfolio of original signed prints is worth between two and three thousand dollars. The subjects also get a year pass to the site when their photos go up. When the subject has a special request, like a nice portrait for the dresser, we give that as well. We get a comprehensive release to use the images for our projects and publications that promote them. If you are interested, let us know.
