UNDERWATER

My discovery of a simple underwater camera in 2009 opened a new world for me to explore.  Bodies suspended – weightless – viewable from an infinite number of new angles – has allowed my figurative work to take flight in this dimension.

I love the underwater world – a natural place to be naked.  I love that each image I get is a gift – an “accident” of variable angle, light and color.  I also love scaling the digital prints up to life or near life size – taking advantage of their painterly quality.
