Every so often – the gonzo approach to photography provides a rare treat.  I was laid on the beach – scanning for something interesting to shoot – when I saw the beautiful muscled back on this man heading into the waves.

As he dove into a wave, I saw this flash of bare ass.  I knew I’d pressed the shutter at some point in time – but I wasn’t sure I’d got the shot in the fraction of a second I wanted.  Ben said, “Did you see that?  He was losing his suit.”  I told him I thought I might have gotten it.  When I played back the last few pictures – wow.

As he came out of the water, I introduced myself and showed him the photo.  His name is Thomas and he’s from Vienna.  He gave me a few additional shots – this smile and ripped torso one being a favorite.  Nice guy
